Sclérochronologie et traits de vie des poissons : estimation du temps, et en particulier de l'âge et de la croissance, à partir des marques enregistrées et conservées dans les pièces calcifiées (principalement otolithes, mais aussi écailles, épines, rayons de nageoire, vertèbres) ; traits de reproduction et connectivité

Méthodologie : préparation des pièces dures, interprétation, microscopie photonique, épifluorescence, microscopie électronique à balayage, analyse d'images (principes de base, logiciels de traitement d'images, application à la sclérochronologie), analyses microchimiques (sondes EDS, WDS, ICPMS)

Applications à l'étude de la biologie et de l'écologie des populations naturelles de poissons (tropicaux et tempérés)
