Fields of study

Characterisation and quantification of interactions (C-coupling, N-competition) between phytoplankton and heterotrophic bacteria through dissolved matter in marine coastal waters.

Contribution of these interactions to the carbon and nitrogen cycle in aquatic systems.

Impact of global change and local perturbations on microbes activities, and their interactions, within the microbial food web.

Application to waste removal and algal mass production
